CEO Roundtable on Cancer XVI

CEO Roundtable VXI featured a Project Data Sphere-focused panel discussion titled "Enabling Research Progress Through Data Sharing and Collaboration." Dr. Douglas Lowy, Deputy Director, National Cancer Institute (NCI) and Dr. Sean Khozin, Associate Director, FDA Oncology Center of Excellence and Founding Director, Information Exchange and Data Transformation (INFORMED), FDA, led the session, during which they highlighted the then-recent milestone fof 100,000 patients on the Project Data Sphere platform. Dr. Lowy remarked on the history of collaboration between the NCI and the CEO Roundtable on Cancer, Inc., and he welcomed the engagement by the NCI in the Project Data Sphere initiative. 

Also during this annual meeting, Life Sciences Consortium Co-Chairs Dr. Mace Rothenberg and Dr. David Reese likened the Project Data Sphere platform to an "oncology resesarch ecosystem" that was enabling collborative, practice-changing reserach. They pointed to the more than 10 peer-reviewed papers that had derived from access to data housed on the platform.
